Feast: A good number of folk narratives
(tales and epic songs) begin with a feast, where the
action begins. The Russian text says literally "a feast
for the whole world," but as this is merely a
folk-narrative expression, and a rhyming one at that, I
chose to translate it more plainly in English, asthe
expression "a feast for the whole world" would be taken
to literally.
